Volume 2 - January 30, 2019

Welcome to the newsletter for St. Albans Swim and Tennis Club. These newsletters will update our members and guests about all of the fun, excitement and important information surrounding St. Albans. We plan to publish once a month during the off-season and bi-weekly during the summer.

Visit our new website:  http://www.stalbansswimclub.com

Nearly 50 people came out for the first happy hour of the winter at Casey’s. A great time was had by all and the event went well into the night. View photos on our facebook page. Please join us for our next happy hour on Friday, February 22 at Teca. Meet all of your St. Albans friends and make some new ones. Feel free to bring along any prospective members as well.

We have just one spot left for Pickleball night on Feb 1. The response has been so strong that we plan to have additional nights in the future.  Sign up on Pike13 to get that last spot!

We are planning a Winter Tennis Social in March - details to follow. Check out our website for updates to the calendar.

We added a section to our newsletter so everyone can get to know their board.  We will profile two board members each month.

Josh Kohn is Founder and Portfolio Manager of Silkworth Capital Partners, an investment firm focused on global infrastructure. Josh currently serves on three non-profit boards, overseeing budgets and personnel. Josh brings expertise on working with others to achieve organizational goals and creating and executing strategies that lead to success. Josh loves tennis and pickleball and is looking to get more players on the pickleball courts! His wife, Kari, is also active in the tennis program and both enjoy all of the friendships they have made on and off the courts. Their children have been active on the swim and dive teams for several years and love spending their summers at St. Albans!

Vice President
Peter Dugery is the Senior Vice President of National Sales for Morningstar Investment Management where he has been employed for 18 years. Peter brings a solid financial and marketing background to identify and plan for strategies to achieve the short and long term goals of St. Albans. Peter and his wife, Kay, are continually seeking to improve their tennis games and can't wait to join the growing pickleball action at St. Albans. Their three children were on the swim and dive teams and have grown up at St. Albans where the Dugerys have been members for 15 years.
